Two Tenure-Track Musicology Positions Available

The Yale University Department of Music seeks to hire two historical musicologists, with primary specializations in music since 1600, for tenure-track or tenured positions, with a preferred starting date of Fall 2019. Rank is open and appointments can be made at the assistant, tenured associate, or full professor levels. We are looking for scholars and inspiring teachers of exceptional intellectual promise and/or accomplishment, whose research is methodologically innovative and profoundly engaged with music-making and musical repertories. Interdisciplinary emphases and a demonstrated engagement with related fields of study are highly desirable. Applications should include a CV and cover letter.
