New England Sacred Harp Convention 2016

You are warmly invited to attend the 2016 New England Sacred Harp Convention in New Haven, Connecticut, for a wonderful weekend of singing. They will sing from The Sacred Harp (1991 Denson edition) in the Old Refectory at the Yale Divinity School (409 Prospect Street) on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October. Singing on both days will commence at 10am.

After the singing on Saturday, Sacred Harp historian Aldo Ceresa will lead an expedition to the Grove Street Cemetery, where he will conduct a graveside lesson on Daniel Read and we’ll sing some Read tunes that aren’t in the Sacred Harp.
