Gary Tomlinson Named Sterling Professor of Music and of Humanities

Yale’s Board of Trustees has appointed Gary Tomlinson as Sterling Professor of Music and of Humanities. “The Sterling Professorship,” according to the press release, “is awarded to a tenured faculty member considered one of the best in his or her field and is one of the university’s highest faculty honors.”
