Professor Gary Tomlinson was named an honorary member of the American Musicological Society at this year’s annual AMS meeting in Vancouver. This honor has been extended to fewer than 90 musicologists since it was instituted 55 years ago. Professor Tomlinson is the fourth Yale professor to be so honored.
