Daniel Walden Received Two Prizes for Recent Article

Daniel Walden’s article “The Global Tonnetz” received two prizes at recent conferences:

From the Society for Ethnomusicology (SEM), he received the Bruno Nettl Prize, for an “an outstanding publication [monograph, edited volume, article, or chapter in a book] contributing to or dealing with the history of the field of ethnomusicology, broadly defined, or with the general character, problems, and methods of ethnomusicology.”

And from the Royal Musical Association, the article received Honourable Mention for the Jerome Roche Prize for an “outstanding article by a scholar in the early stages of their career.”
