Clifton Boyd Awarded Research Grant from Music Library Association

Clifton Boyd was awarded the Dena Epstein Award for Archival and Library Research in American Music from the Music Library Association. The award supports research in archives or libraries internationally on any aspect of American music, with special attention this year given to research that contributes to topics related to Black/African-American music in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. Clifton plans to use the funds to conduct archival research at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s Harmony Hall Archival Collection in Nashville, Tennessee.
