Philipp Lojak recognized for his master’s thesis

Philipp Lojak has received the Folkwangpreis, an award given by the Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der Folkwang Universität der Künste e.V.in Germany to outstanding young artists and researchers at the university annually since 1958. Philipp received the award for his master’s thesis, “Medievalism and contemporary opera: Love and Power in George Benjamin’s Written on Skin and L’amour de loin by Kaija Saariaho”, which he submitted in Fall 2024.
