Yale Musical Theater of the Air’s concert production of My Fair Lady at the Shubert Theater in January 2014 has been chosen as one of five winners of 2014 AYA Leadership Awards for Volunteer Innovation and Service. The award will be presented on Thursday, November 13 from 6-7:30 in the President’s Room above the Woolsey Rotunda.
The Shen Curriculum partners with Yale Bands and the AYA, together with producer and alum Amber Edwards ‘82, to produce classic American musicals in concert. These shows feature illustrious Yale alumni alongside current students – in the orchestra, onstage and on the production team. Our first such effort, Kiss Me Kate (1/2013), was part of the Cole Porter Centennial Celebration at Yale.
